The Tow bar electric boot hoist
will fit all motor vehicles fitted with a removable
square hitch tow bar tongue. It is powered by the
car battery and will lift up to 90 Kg weight. The
hoist folds neatly and is easy to operate. Simply
lift the boom arm (7.5 Kg) and pole (3 Kg) into
place connect the remote and it is ready to use.
Typically you may need to manually remove the scooter
seat, remove, or fold the scooters tiller and the
hoist will lift all of the heavy components for
you with the push of a button. Then all you need
to do is guide the scooter into place and lower.
The main advantage of the tow bar
hoist is that it installation is simple providing
you have the removable square tongue tow bar (Hoist
to tow bar mount can be modified to fit onto a standard
tow bar tongue). No holes need to be drilled in
your boot so the vehicle says original.
The Take a Part boot hoist comes
complete with operator’s manual, mounting
hardware and wiring for self installation or we
can install the hoist for you, in our fully equipped
workshop.
The hoist can also easily be removed
when not in use. If in future you wish to upgrade
your car the hoist can be transferred to your new
vehicle. You can even purchase a second Hoist to
tow bar mount and have it fitted and wired to a
second vehicle, allowing you to swap the hoist from
one vehicle to another in seconds.
